The FE-290 was built to let you capture more of all your favorite people and places. The wide-angle lens combines with 4x optical zoom and an extra large 3.0" LCD to fit more in every photo you frame. It's ideal for shooting everything from panoramic landscapes to indoor group shots where there isn't much room to back up. Get so much more in your shot. The FE-290 features a precision-crafted, wide-angle lens that's ideal for shooting indoors, broad landscapes and family portraits. It has one of the largest LCDs available on a compact digital camera (3.0"). It makes it easy to compose and review your shot. Plus, the LCD Backlight Boost Button increases the brightness of the LCD for better outdoor visibility. With high ISO sensitivity and faster shutter speeds, you can freeze the action to capture sharp, blur-free images, even if the camera or your subject is moving. Almost everyone needs a little help tweaking their camera's settings for night photos, subjects in motion and other challenging shots. The In-Camera Help Guides in the FE-290 provide brief descriptions of a variety of camera settings that display on the LCD at the push of a button. Always get the best shot.
