The i600 Ultra Messaging is the slimmest Samsung 3G smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard. The handset has a large 2.3 Inch color screen which provides up to 65,000 colors on a TFT LCD screen. The full QWERTY keyboard and navigation wheel are situated below the large screen. The i600 Ultra Messaging has been designed for the style conscious professional user with all the built in business functions and entertainment features which are desired by the professional user on the move. The phone comes with 64 Mbytes of RAM memory and 128 Mbytes of ROM memory plus the user can extend the phones memory capabilities by adding a MicroSD� removable memory card. The i600 Ultra Messaging comes with Microsoft� Windows Mobile� 5.0 operating system which has a document viewer and image viewer function. The user can view images in either BMP, JPEG or GIF image format. The i600 Ultra Messaging is the first smartphone to support web applications such as pod casting and RSS feeds. The phone comes with Internet wireless broadband capabilities and the user can access the Internet browser from the main menu. The smartphone works on a Tri band network which covers GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900 which will switch between bands automatically.
